Live Your Love-Life With A Laugh
Laugh together and muse over it later, if you want to keep alive the spark in your love life - says psychologist Doris Bazzini.
Doris research indicated that sharing a laugh with your romantic partner and reminiscing about it later helps keep relationships alive. “When you share a laugh with someone, there’s a connection between the two of you,” said Doris
She added: “When you reminisce, you get to experience the laughter again, but you also get to reflect on it now – ‘remember that time....’ You can build on it more, and as a result, two things happen: we are defining our relationship in these positive terms, and we’re validating ourselves at the same time.”
When you share a laugh with your loved one, it can create a buffer in the relationship so that when arguments or misunderstandings arise, it does not have any negative effect on the relationship, she explained. “In other words, we can bounce back more quickly,” she said.
Dorris also reported on resisting temptation. “One thing that came out of that study is that it’s very flattering when someone other than your partner is interested in you,” she said.
“We found that when (our study participants who were in a committed relationship) were asked out on a date, they were intrigued. They were flattered. What I take from that is if you’re in a committed relationship and want to remain so, you shouldn’t let the flattery get the best of you. The New Buzz Word in Man's World - MANCATION
What do you call a vacation for a male without his female companion?..."MANCATION" is the answer.
This word was first coined in the movie 'The Breakup' by actor Vince Vaughn wherein the protagonist has split from his partner, and wants to get away, without his female friend.
"The only vacation I have been on has been a mancation," The Age quoted Sydneysider Daniel Dragicevich, as saying.
Daniel embarked on an extended European ‘mancation" last year with pal Ross Brown. Add to the mix, the pair was joined by their mate Michael Buggy, who, after meeting up with his girlfriend in Canada, met them in Amsterdam.
Michael said that his mancation was inspired by the value that he places on friendship.
Men's Health has reported that male-to-male bonding has lot of benefits.
"We're strong advocates of the benefits of spending time with your mates. It is the male way of expressing emotions, however limited they may be," Ian Cockerill, deputy editor of the magazine, said.
“For the female traveller there are organised, escorted tours. Shopping, cooking, adventuring, there is something for everyone. Men, on the other hand, in particular Australian men are more likely to do it spontaneously than sign up for organised travel," he added.
"We offer a website for guys to search for mancations and also to post information related to mancations. The aim of the site is to be the best location on the net to find packages being offered, locations to visit ... related to mancations," Sprifke said. For Sprifke the intention of the mancation is not so much to get away from female company but to fulfil masculine needs. "Mancations tend to be entered around activities that are testosterone driven. Romantics?..Feminists Are The Actual Takers
A new study has shown that men tend to have healthier relationships when dating a feminist than dating a non-feminist.
It is also equally important for women too. Being a feminist can actually improve the quality of their inmate relationships. Rutgers University (US) carried out a study to this perception.
The University conducted a laboratory survey of 242 American undergraduates and an online survey including 289 okder adults who were more likely to have had longer relationships and greater life experience.
They looked at the perception of men and women of their own feminism and its link to relationship health, measured by a combination of overall relationship quality, agreement about gender equality, relationship stability and sexual satisfaction.
The survey report showed that having a feminist partner was associated with healthier heterosexual relationships for women. Men with feminist partners also reported both more stable relationships and greater sexual satisfaction.
The researchers also examined the validity of feminist stereotypical beliefs amongst their two samples, based on the hypothesis that if feminist stereotypes are accurate, then feminist women should be more likely to report themselves as being single, lesbian, or sexually unattractive, compared with non-feminist women.
The authors found no support for this hypothesis amongst their study participants. In fact, feminist women were more likely to be in a heterosexual romantic relationship than non-feminist women.

Certain foods have gained a reputation for increasing libido. The resemblance of an avocado to a testicle may be one of the reason people believe that eating avocado will increase their sexual drive. A Kiss Can Make Women Beautiful
Want to make your Woman feel beautiful? Give her that perfect lover's kiss, says a new poll.
The poll was conducted to find out what makes a woman feel beautiful. The result has revealed that a simple smooch from their man puts a spring in a girl's step than anything else.
The survey was conducted among 1,000 British women aged over 18 said that kiss from their man was preferable than lingerie, a shopping aplurge and even sex. But surprisingly perfumes, jewellery and beauty treatments did not feature in the top ten.
60% women reported that a smacker on the lips from their man made them feel more attractive.
Second on the list was a new lingerie followed by having sex. The fourth was receiving a wolf whistle followed by having a long soak in a bubble bath. At number eight was applying a colourful lipstick and next was a fat-burning gym workout with a chocolate fix at tenth place.
