German lovers are branded the "Worst lovers in the world", because of their selfishness.
The survey was conducted on the poll of 10,000 women in 50 countries. The second spot was taken by the Swedish and the reason : They were too quick.
And the "Bronze" goes to the Dutch. Reason: Too rough. Report from The Sun. The American men have taken the fourth place because of their dominance. They were followed by Welsh men as they were soppy, fifth were the "too loud" Scots and the Turks were too sweaty took the sisth place. The tenth place were taken by the Englishmen as they were too chubby.
The best lovers acoording to the women polled were the Italians and French.

Reduce The Risk of "Unwanted" Christmas Present
Beware! Christmas is the time of celebration. But for some health experts it's a season people are at risk of sexsually transmitted infections (STIs).
According to news, STIs are rising concern in Wales. Wales' top doctor, has called on the people to improve their sexual health practises over Christmas in a bid to cut down the rising tide of STIs.
Chief Medical Officer of Wales, Tony Jewell, fears that Christmas is also a season of unprotected sex. Many people who are unware of their sexually transmitted infections, put their health and others at risk.
More than 3,500 people visited a sexual health clinic in Wales with chlamydia in 2006, and there has been a 46% increase in cases of gonorrhoea between 2000 and 2004.
Many people who are infected with chlamydia, may not be aware that they are carrying and transmitting, which has many adcerse impacts such as pelvic inflammatory disease which can lead to infertlity.
The officer added that people should be specially careful during the Christmas season. Improving sexual health and increase the use of contraceptives such as condoms will help reduce this increasing problem.

One of the researchers R. Weston of the Australian Institute of Family Studies said that young people think that living together is a fun thing to do and believe in taking each day as it comes, but this often results in hanging on for years in an unsuitable relationship.
This results in eventual break off, then it might take them a long time to find a new partner and in case for women, they may lose their chance of having children.
R. Weston added that in the old days people might have gone steady, but there was still opportunity to meet others. The researchers analysed 2006 data, which showed that 35% of women and 41% of men aged 30 to 34, are single. Among women aged 35-39, it is 31% and for men 35%. Weston added that there are lot of people in their late 30s without a partner, although some would have once had a partner.
The research said that since the last census, the divorce rate appears to have reached a plateau and living together has become more unstable. More people were splitting before they are married.

Women's Sex Life - A "Deep" Study
A recently survey has shown that more than half of Canadian Women experience at least one sexual problem, starting from low sex drive to difficulties climaxing during sex.
A one of a kind survey published in the Canadian Journal of Human Sexuality shows the different variables that affect women's sexual experiences. The researchers looked at factors such as age, marital status, contraceptive use and eduction to determine how these factors affect a woman's sex life.
A 2002 survey conducted by Canadian Contraception study among 1,582 women, have shown that 55% of the women had experienced at least one of three problems: low sexual derire, infrequent orgasms during sex and pain during intercourse. The participants age was between 15 and 44.
A more detailed report: Of the women who showed sexual concerns, 40% reported low desire, 23% infrequent orgasms during sex and 14% reported pain during sex.
If women were heavier, were more educated, had partners with erectile difficulties or were on birth control pill or used condoms reported infrequent orgasns. But that does not necessarily mean that women with high body weight or being married actually causes low sex drive, rather it could be a case of other factors at play.
For example, the researchers speculate that the relationship between high body weight and low sex drive could be due to hormones or low self-esteem issues. In the case of older women and low sex drive, they note more stress at work.

A study was carried out at Aberdeen University that involved volunteers looking at four different sets of images- Women looking happy, Women looking disgusted, Men looking happy and Men looking disgusted.
The volunteers were then asked to rate the relative attarctiveness of the images in each pair. The researchers found that the attraction being most profound when someone is directly looking at you. They aslo found one common thing that the attraction was based on social cues that say, "I'm interested in you".
Based on the volunteers' report, the researchers found that if someone gives a direct stare, that gives a much attractive impression and also only if the looks they give say they like you.The preference shooted up if the face in the picture was of opposite sex.
One of the doctors involved in the research was quoted saying "It does seem to be a sort of narcissistic thing. People are attracted to people who are attracted to them."
Social signals like how attracted someone is to you is very important. You get attracted to people who are attracted to you and that shows attractiveness is not just about physical beauty.
The research also showed that people like faces with direct gaze more than the same faces with averted gaze. In simple words people find more impressive and attractive when they are being looked at.
The results were published in the Proceedings of the Royal Society.

Stress can Hamper your Sexual Relation
Researchers have found that stress in modern lifestyle is playing havoc on sexsual relationship.
Work difficulties, financial crisis and tiredness are the main reasons behind stress and it is affecting nearly 15 million British men and women. Their subsequent lack of interest in bedroom is putting their relationship at stake.
A survey was conducted by Novo Nordisk (pharmaceutical company) in collaboration with Relate among 2,037 people over 16s. In the survey, 50% people reported that their sex lives have been affected with loss of libido or discomfort and the reason behind all these causes are stress and medical issues.
In the survey, it was found that women aged over 55 were most susceptible to sexual health problems. 70% in this group reported their age has made them suspecting their partner found them unattractive. Rest reported that they regularly discussed their sex lives.
According to Denise Knowles, a Relate relationship counsellor, the research was conducted among couples where the extent of stress including sexual problems have taken a significant part within the relationship.

Make your Debut at the Right Age
Started playing the "Worlds Favorite Sport" at a younger age or older than average average age -both appear to carry a greater risk of developing sexual healh problems later in life, a new study suggests.
A 1996 data was used for a cross-sectional survey of more than 8000 US adults, the researchers found that those who started having sex at an early age were more likely to have certain risk factors for sexually transmitted diseases (STD)- including a hign number of sexual partners and a history of having sex under the influence of alocohol. These facts are also true primarily of men, whose problems included difficulty maintaining an erection and reaching orgasm.
But the research did not report why both early and late starters tend to have sexual dysfunction.
One of the researchers said that delaying sexual activity may create health risks by impending development of the emotional and interpersonal skills that are very much important for satisfactory sexual functioning and general well-being.
On average, the research said that people start having sex for the first time arond 17 or 18, but people who had their first encounters at an age of 14 were considered early starters and people who started at 22 or older were considered late starters.
From the research work report, its not possible to determine the cause and effect. For example, young men with sexual problems may start having intercourse at a later age, contributing to the link between later sexual "debut" and higher odds of sexual dysfunction.
